The library is a pulsing heart of an Education Institution, Collection of more than 15000 books & wide range of National & International periodicals dedicated to the Engineering, Technology, Humanities, Social Science & Management. Various CD ROMs have also been added to the collection. The enormous growth in the collection demands creation of various sections such as circulation section, Reference books, Periodical Section, Reading Room. The growth is not only in the collections but also in the member of readers. It is the result of the various efforts taken by the library to attract the users. The salient features of the library are Book Exhibition, Book Pocket Display, Internet Access, Open Access for Periodicals, Spacious Reading Room, Book Bank Scheme, IIT Membership, IEEE Membership etc.
All these activities have been carried out with the kind co-operation & encouragement by the Principal. Considering the students demand the library staff had decided to keep library open up to 12.00p.m. in the evening. As a result of it, the Reading Room of the library remains open from 8.00a.m. to 12.00p.m.
LIBRARY COLLECTION
The Library has developed an excellent collection of books, journals and non-book material on Science, Engineering , Technology, Humanities, Social Science and Management. LIBRARY ARCHIVES
- Exhibition:
The Library department has organized reference book & Text Book exhibition as a part of extension activity from 11th sep. to 13th 2006. The exhibition has received overwhelming response from students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff on the entire cross-section of the society visited the exhibition and appreciated the efforts taken.
