Electrical department was established in 2005. The staff of this department is mainly involved in teaching subjects related to Basic Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machines and Control Systems for the students of various branches. A conscious effort is made to maintain high educational standard. The staff from department is actively involved in giving consultancy and training to students for industry.

Apart from teaching, the staff of the department looks after new installation, Electrical Maintenance, UPS Systems, Generators and Lift. There is also a conscious effort for energy conservation and Audit techniques. The staff of the department is actively involved in extra-curricular activities including blood donation camps, 'services to community' etc.
