Candidates are
advised to follow rules for admission to first year degree in
Engineering/Technology and for Direct Admission to second year of
degree courses in Engineering/Technology as published by the
Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State from time to time.
Eligibility
Criteria for first year admission :
In order to secure
admission to first year of four year degree courses in
Engineering/Technology through centralized allotment process,
candidate should have
a) Passed the HSC
(std. XII examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and
Higher Secondary examination or its equivalent examination with
subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured
minimum 50 % marks i.e. 150 marks out of 300 marks(45% marks i.e. 135
marks out of 300 marks for backward class category candidate from
Maharashtra) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added
together in HSC (std XII) or its equivalent examination.
b) Ranking obtained
in MHT-CET for Engineering / Technology degree courses.
If the seats remain
vacant after MHT-CET and AIEEE qualified candidates are admitted then the
candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria at (a) will be considered
for admission.
If the seats still remain vacant then
such seats shall be offered to Diploma holders.
As approved by Government of Maharashtra
and other fees as prescribed by University of
Mumbai.
Fee is Rs. 59,400/- for students admitted in the academic year 20010-11
To be paid by DD in favor of "Yadavrao Tasgaonkar College of Engineering and Management" Payable at Mumbai
Refund rules of
Government of Maharashtra will be applicable for cancellation of
admissions.
Discipline
• A student must put in minimum
attendance as prescribed by the University of
Mumbai for grant of terms.
• The student will
abide by the general rules given by the Director of Technical Education
and discipline laid down by the college authorities from time to time.
•A Student must
appear for test examinations conducted by the college. This is part of
continuous assessment.
• In all the matters
the Principal's decision shall be final and binding on all the students.
