The department of Mechanical engineering remains among the premier departments of YTP. The department has kept pace with the various laboratories. The laboratories in the department are recognized in a number of areas as testing facilities. The department also has workshops for training in smithy, carpentry, welding and machine tools.

Mechanical engineering is a core branch of engineering. Mechanical engineer can make a carrier in every field of industry such as mechanical, automobile, chemical, electrical, information Technology, design, etc. Department has all laboratories and workshop well equipped as per structure & syllabus and have well qualified, devoted & dedicated team of teaching staff.

The department aims to provide excellent teaching /learning environment to the students. The department imparts training to the students on various industry specific software’s such as Auto CAD Inventor making them adaptive technical challenges.
