SES’s Chandai Campus is located at about three kilometers away from the Bhivpuri Road Railway Station. There was a lot of inconvenience to employees and students of SES, who were residing in Mumbai and travelling on the Central Railway Route. After getting down at Bhivpuri Road Station, there was a lack of transport facilities to travel from Bhivpuri Road Station to the campus. There were also several employees and students travelling from Panvel and Navi Mumbai towards Bhivpuri Road Station, Karjat and back, who were highly inconvenienced due to irregularity of Karjat train and ST Bus timings.
To mitigate this issue, SES Management introduced transport facilities which were put into service since the year 2005. This was hailed and appreciated by one and all. From a fleet of five buses in 2005, the fleet has now grown to a modest size of 20 buses. These buses ply at specified intervals for Bhivpuri Road Station as well as for Khanda Colony, Panvel. The frequency of buses plying during peak hours in the morning and evening is very high. Three buses ply to and fro Panvel. One bus is reserved for the employees and students of Diksal Campus. The remaining fleet of buses are utilized to ply to and fro to Bhivpuri Road Railway Station & back.
The fleet is well maintained by a team of drivers and technicians who are the employees of SES Group of Institutions.
